The Midknot offers one of the best knots for joining single strand PE/GSP shock
leader. The Midknot is considered the best knot for connecting mainline to
leader (without a double) for GT popping and jigging applications.
Note: The Midknot works best when used in conjunction with a softer more
supple shock leader material. This allows the braid to 'bite' into the shock leader material.
